Born and raised in Alabama, Leia graduated from St. Clair County High School in 2004 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Montevallo. Leia’s passion for helping others took root early and continued to flourish as she pursued her law degree at Birmingham School of Law, graduating in 2014. While homing in on her law degree, she spent nine years as a legal assistant and nine years as an attorney at a national plaintiff's firm, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the world of personal injury law.

Her faith has been a steady anchor for over 12 years as a devoted member of Church of the Highlands, shaping the way she lives, loves, and leads.

When she’s not working or volunteering, Leia’s all about making memories cheering on the Auburn Tigers, hosting cozy backyard BBQs, or throwing themed parties that are always a hit with friends and family. Her favorite escapes? Sunny days on the shores of Orange Beach and peaceful getaways to the charming mountain town of Boone, North Carolina.
